Support and Downloads

If you have any support issues with Payback, the first thing to check is that you're running the latest version. You can see the version number at the top of the screen in Payback. If you don't have the current version, then you can download it here. This is an update for existing customers only. To download the full version please go to the downloads page.

NOTE: Do not uninstall your existing version of Payback.

1. Backup your payroll data (Click 'Admin' on the left, and then 'Backup')
2. Exit from Payback
3. Download the update and when prompted click 'Run'
4. This will start the Payback installation wizard. Proceed through each step by clicking 'Next'
5. Start up Payback
6. Payback will automatically detect your payroll data and copy it across
7. Check that the version number at the top of the Payback screen is the latest version
8. Check that your payroll data is correct and up-to-date

This is the PDF (Adobe Acrobat) version of the Payback user manual. It describes in detail every task and scenario you are likely to encounter in the software.

Please ensure you are running the latest version of Payback (see instructions at the top of this page) before contacting support, this will allow us to deal with your call much more efficiently.

The fastest way to get a support response is to email your query to support@payback.ie, we usually respond to support messages within 30 minutes. If our lines are busy then please leave a message briefly describing your issue. Support phone messages are usually dealt with within 4 hours.
